O2 Daisy and Industrious sign at OSMO, Battersea

Quadrant, the independent UK real estate asset management and development company, has signed two deals totalling almost 45,000 sq ft at OSMO, Quadrant and AIMCo’s new office building in London’s Battersea. Business communications firm O2 Daisy is consolidating its London based offices into a dedicated space at OSMO, while flexible workspace company Industrious is opening a new two-floor workspace at the building.

O2 Daisy, formed earlier this year through a joint venture between Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy Group, has signed to occupy OSMO’s entire 14,615 sq ft 11th floor on a ten-year lease.

Industrious’ new flexible workspace will occupy 29,144 sq ft on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building, marking the operator’s tenth location in the UK, its seventh in London, and its first within Wandsworth. The new location asserts Industrious’ commitment to expanding its footprint beyond the Square Mile and into Battersea, one of London’s fastest-growing business innovation and residential districts.

OSMO provides 166,500 sq ft of Grade-A office space designed to support ambitious, fast-growing businesses. It combines high-quality design with strong sustainability credentials, including BREEAM Outstanding and net zero carbon in operation. The building also has a strong focus on the health of its occupants, with WELL Platinum certification and an emphasis on biophilic design.

Tenants benefit from a 12th-floor Sky Suite, landscaped terraces with panoramic views over London, and collaborative spaces designed to enhance wellbeing and productivity. Industrious’ offering opens up OSMO to companies of all sizes and will bring further benefits to occupiers on other floors of the building, providing an easy option for overflow workspace and meeting rooms. Industrious will also run a communal lounge and terrace overlooking the iconic Battersea Power Station, hosting wellness programming and community networking events, and an on-site café set to be operated by a high-quality speciality coffee brand.

Located in the heart of Battersea, OSMO offers excellent connectivity via the Northern Line extension, as well as easy access to the Victoria Line and London Overground. The building is moments from the new 14-acre linear park that runs from Battersea to Vauxhall, providing a calm urban oasis connected to the Thames River Path. The amenities of Battersea Power Station are also close by. With Apple having chosen the area for its London headquarters, the area is rapidly evolving into a thriving hub for technology, media, and telecoms firms as well as start-ups, fast-growing SMEs and creative businesses.

Tristram Gethin, Founding Partner at Quadrant, said:

“Industrious’ and O2 Daisy’s long-term commitment to OSMO is a strong endorsement of the building’s quality and a clear signal of Battersea’s attractiveness as a destination for forward-thinking businesses. OSMO leads the way in terms of sustainable, wellness-focused workspace in London and those working here can enjoy an exceptional lifestyle given the amenities and green space nearby. We look forward to welcoming Industrious and O2 Daisy to the building.”

Jo Bertram, CEO of O2 Daisy, commented:

“Our move to Battersea marks an exciting milestone for O2 Daisy as we bring together all our London based teams into a brand new space. We’re pleased to become part of this exciting business district. OSMO will play a key role in our continued growth, with its biophilic workspace and high-quality amenities providing an exceptional environment for our people, fostering innovation, collaboration, and positioning us for long-term success.”

Tom Redmayne, SVP, Head of Europe & Global Sales at Industrious, commented:

“Battersea is exactly the kind of neighbourhood where high-quality, flexible workspace can make a real difference. We’re focused on creating workplaces that are closer to where people live, rooted in their local communities, and accessible to growing businesses. This new location at OSMO is our first in the Borough of Wandsworth and our tenth in the UK. It reflects our commitment to delivering workspace that supports entrepreneurship, local economic development, and the next generation of London businesses.”

Agents for OSMO are Kontor, Knight Frank & Savills. Industrious was represented by CBRE and O2 Daisy was represented by Glinsman Weller.
