Quadrant completes series of office lettings at City of London scheme Cannon Green

Quadrant, the independent UK real estate asset management and development company, has completed three deals totalling 12,000 sq ft at Cannon Green, the 107,000 sq ft office and retail scheme in the heart of the City of London, which it manages and has refurbished on behalf of a Korean institutional investor.

GlobalLogic, a digital engineering partner to global businesses and owned by Hitachi Group, has taken 4,732 sq ft on the sixth floor on a 5-year lease. Major US legal firm Ogletree Deakins has also signed for 4,106 sq ft on the third floor for 10 years, while Pure IP, an international cloud-based business voice solutions firm, has taken 2,708 sq ft on the second floor on a 5-year lease. A further 9,000 sq ft of office space at Cannon Green is also under offer to a separate occupier, meaning a total of 21,000 sq ft is now let or under offer at the scheme within just three months of the refurbishment works completing.

Quadrant has refurbished Cannon Green’s workspace to an impressive standard, achieving BREEAM In-Use Excellent and providing a CAT A+ fit-out. It has also entirely revamped the building’s reception with wooden panelling throughout, a striking desk, and new planters. Cannon Green offers occupiers exceptional amenity with retail outlets, rooftop terraces with 360-degree views of London, a onsite café, a podium working area and gym. Cannon Green’s location on Bush Lane, between Cannon Street and Monument stations, also make it one of the best-connected buildings in the City.

Johnny Armour, Associate Partner at Quadrant, said:

“These lettings are a strong endorsement of our strategy at Cannon Green and the appeal of high-quality, amenity-rich workspace in the City of London. To secure three occupiers in quick succession, at attractive rents and within months of completion, is an excellent outcome for our client and a clear validation of the investment made in the building. It’s also positive news for the wider London office market, reinforcing the depth of demand for high quality fitted space, showing occupiers are ready to quickly commit to best-in-class space that supports productivity, business connectivity and employee wellbeing. With further space also under offer, Cannon Green is rapidly establishing itself as one of the City’s standout schemes.”

Quadrant was appointed asset manager of Cannon Green to transform what was an underperforming asset in 2023, initially managing a successful refinancing for the building to support its redevelopment plans.

RX London and Cushman & Wakefield are the leasing agents for Cannon Green.
