Quadrant makes new appointments as team continues to grow

Quadrant, the independent UK real estate asset management and development company, has appointed Sam Butler as Associate Partner, and promoted Pei-Wen Yen to Equity Partner, as the company further enhances its investment, underwriting and acquisition capabilities, to take advantage of new opportunities.

Sam joins from Chancerygate, where he managed a UK multi-let industrial development portfolio, supporting acquisition, funding, and delivery through the development cycle. Prior to this, he worked on an investment-focused team at Frasers Property Australia, covering portfolio strategy, capital allocation and transactions.

At Quadrant, Sam will support the investment execution, underwriting assets for acquisition including coordinating due diligence, as Quadrant’s appetite for investments in key sectors including Central London offices continues to grow.

Pei-Wen Yen joined Quadrant in 2021 as Associate Partner with an initial focus on retail assets, having previously worked for Sainsbury’s, Almacantar and Rothschild & Co, before being made partner in late 2022. Her appointment as Equity Partner follows her recent promotion to Head of Transactions, reflecting her continued strong contribution and her more senior role within the business.

John Maddison, Managing Partner at Quadrant, said:

“We welcome Sam and congratulate Pei on her promotion. At an interesting time for real estate markets, our clients and partners rely on us to bring the very best people to deliver optimum outcomes. Pei has proven she can consistently deliver outstanding results and will be a valuable addition to our senior team, while Sam has a wealth of relevant experience, further broadening our capabilities as we continue to grow.”

Sam Butler, Associate Partner at Quadrant, added:

“I’m excited to be joining Quadrant. The UK market provides significant opportunities for investors able to identify the right assets to acquire and develop, and Quadrant undoubtedly has one of the most respected teams in the industry to help them at all stages of the process.”
