Quadrant Welcomes Patrick Waters and Jeremy Lacey To The Team

Quadrant, the independent UK real estate asset management and development company, has appointed Patrick Waters and Jeremy Lacey as Development Directors.

Patrick and Jeremy both join from Chelsfield, where they worked together to develop a range of high-quality schemes across London.

Patrick has over 35 years’ experience in the UK property market, with the last 15 spent implementing large complex mixed-use developments in central London.

Most recently, he was Chelsfield’s London development director, where he was responsible for the K1 Knightsbridge development, a 330,000 sq ft scheme with a GDV of over £700m. In a joint venture between Chelsfield and Ilchester Estates he was part of the team that negotiated the acquisition of the former Commonwealth Institute site in Holland Park and the subsequent development of the new Design Museum together with 55 luxury apartments, known as Holland Green, with a GDV of £440m. Prior to that, he was a partner at Southern Properties Group, where he built up a mixed-use development and investment portfolio, and a partner at Donaldsons.

Jeremy previously worked with Patrick at Chelsfield overseeing the delivery of the K1 Knightsbridge development amongst others.

He has over 20-years’ experience in the real estate industry, and before joining Chelsfield also worked at The Southern Properties Group for seven years, focusing on development and investment management. This included the management of a £60m mixed-use portfolio owned by a London estate and the buildout of a number of residential developments in central London.

At Quadrant, Patrick and Jeremy will work on the firm’s existing central London office projects, including YY London, the new smart, green and wellbeing-focused workspace in Canary Wharf, and OSMO, a highly sustainable 166,000 sq ft contemporary and nature-focused workspace in Battersea, as well as exploring new office and mixed-use opportunities.

Tristram Gethin, Partner at Quadrant, said:

“Patrick and Jeremy have a long track record of working together successfully. Their experience will complement that of our existing colleagues and it’s great to have them working with us. As we look to explore additional opportunities in central London and grow the team further, their senior counsel will be a valuable resource.”

Patrick Waters, Development Director at Quadrant, said:

“The quality of Quadrant’s existing schemes and its team, which brings together highly respected, experienced professionals and the brightest rising stars, was a real draw for me to work with the firm. Some exceptional opportunities exist in the London market currently and Quadrant has the team, network and backing to be able to explore and take advantage of them.”

Jeremy Lacey, Development Director at Quadrant, said:

“The YY London and OSMO schemes demonstrate Quadrant’s exceptional ability to develop buildings that set a new benchmark for London offices in terms of technology, sustainability and modern working practices. I am excited to play a role in these outstanding projects, and to support the development of additional new schemes that continue to raise the bar.”
